DIRTY RIG Rock Did It Escapi Music EMUS20062 (2006)
Kory Clarke - formerly of Warrior Soul, heads this new punk metal outfit.
And this is at the other end of the spectrum; while someone like Bernie Torme is at the explosive, fire, Hendrix end of punk metal, this is melodic, rhythmic, heavy as f**k punk metal yet still uptempo. There are similarities too though.
Better than their debut, this is good time rock’n’roll music, high tempo, ear bursting metal.
'Stick It' and 'Drunk Again' sum up the attitude well. 'Just A Star' has a chorus of 'Take off your t-shirt' - says it all, with the wall of noise that was Warrior Soul.
