Just witnessed your best live gig?..send us a review!

DIO
Astoria, London 22 October 2005

Wow,what a gig..!!! Rronnie is about 65 now, but like fine wine he get's better with age..!!

He kicked off with "Tarot Woman" from the classic "Rainbow Rising" album follwed up by "Sign of the Southern Cross" from the Sabs "Mob Rules" album.

It wasn't long before they started to play all of the "Holy Diver" CD (the 20th anniversary of its release and the reason for this tour). This was superb - especially "Dont Talk to Strangers" - still totally brilliant..!!

They then finished the show with "Heaven and Hell" and "We Rock".

An overall triumph with Dio in superb form (how does such a little bloke have such a big voice?). One minor gripe though - when will bands learn that self indulgent drum and guitar solos are so old hat..!! I went to the loo and found a queue a mile long...think on...
