AGATHODAIMON - Spanish/Portuguese tour

AGATHODAIMON are busy working on the new album which will be recorded late this year; currently a new bass player is being trained. A tour through Spain and Portugal is confirmed for November, and gigs in Romania and England are in the making. Dutch Deathsters GOD DETHRONED are gearing up for another
Blitzkrieg European tour with Vader & Severe Torture. Being the main
support and having the new album out during the tour will give the band a lot
of well-deserved exposure. Scroll down for the full touring schedule!
"The Toxic Touch" is the band's 6th album for
Metal Blade Records and was recorded at Soundlodge Studios in Germany with
Producer Joerg Uken. Mastering was handled at Wisseloord Studios in Holland.

- 'The Toxic
Touch' is the product of two years of extensive and intense touring all over
the world. The new line-up has proved to be superior to all the previous ones.
You could see it as a learning process. While everybody knows us as a band with
a fine mix between the brutal and the melodic parts, people appreciate us
mostly for our groove and melody, especially live. The new album reflects that
more than ever before.
The number of
blast-beats on this album has been decreased to a minimum. Why? Simply because
in a live situation it's probably the most boring part. In the new situation
the blast-beat adds something special, the explosion, whereas in the past it
was just a common part of our style and therefore 'nothing special',
comments
GOD DETHRONED mainman Henri Sattler, and adds: - 'The Toxic Touch' has become an album with new and broader influences,
techniques and songwriting, but sounds exactly the way God Dethroned should
sound anno 2006. This time with our best and heaviest production to date.' „The Toxic Touch- will be released on the
20th of October in G/A/S, and on the 23rd of October in Europe!

SUBWAY TO SALLY - Acoustic album + DVD
to be released in November
In April 2006, Medieval metallers SUBWAY TO SALLY embarked on their very first acoustic tour named "Nackt" (="Naked") through primary churches and smaller clubs with intimate atmosphere all over Germany. The unique project turned out to be a great success!
Accompanied by cellist B.Deutung (ex-INCHTABOKATABLES) the band created magical, unforgettable
evenings - both for the fans and themselves. Everyone who has missed the tour
can cheer up now: SUBWAY TO SALLY recorded their "Nackt" concerts on
April 30th (aural for the CD) and May 5th (visually for the DVD) at the
Passionskirche in Berlin - the material will be released as high class CD/DVD
package in November.

FALCONER -
Press release on new album!
FALCONER have finished recordings on their fifth studio
album entitled „Northwind". Comments guitar player Stefan Weinerhall: "'Northwind', the fifth album of FALCONER is a return to the folkish style after some experiment on the last one.
Very melodic and catchy, and with
Mathias back on vocals he gives the album that extra epic touch that none other
can do. The album is not a concept album although the title sums up the
atmosphere of both the music and the lyrics. From catchy metal to sweet ballads
to medieval minstrels gone electrified, there´s something for all tastes."
The album will be released as a limited first edition
including a bonus-cd with recordings of four Swedish folk songs and a video
documentary of the album recordings.

Signing - The Senseless
Anticulture Records proudly announce the signing of The Senseless
The Senseless' is a solo studio project from Sam Bean (bass player in The Berzerker). After relocating to the UK earlier this year, 'The Senseless' have been
developing their own take of fast, melodic and harsh death metal. Apparently
the English air may have brought further damage to Sam's brain. The recording session for the first album will start in the next few days and the release is set for spring 2007. Website and Myspace page available soon !! ***
ILLUMINATE - New album!
Germany poets of dark romance, ILLUMINATE, finished their tenth record (!) "Zwei Seelen" to stir up the scene. The toweringly album will be available in the stores the 29th of September. The album is heavier than the previous ones, thank you drums and more guitars, as singer Johannes Berthold says. The thrill of anticipation in the fan-scene was amplified by the gig at this years WAVE GOTIK TREFFEN where the new Gothic Rock ballad "Es Brennt Die Welt" stunned every fan. "The song describes with strong metaphors what happened in the night of 13th February 1945. In that night, 40.000 people died because of the senseless bombing of the city of Dresden", says Johannes. The album features the typical dark ILLUMINATE style with songs like "Tote Gärten" and "Siehst Du Mich in Dir?" but also fresh tones with tunes like the hit "Wer Lieben will!." - a song without keyboards. An intended contrast: "The duality of the both sides of the
album must be drastic and striking. On this record, we have well-known romantic
and emotional moments, but also tragic and depressive moments." As a
bonus, the first ever-live CD in the history of ILLUMINATE will be included.
The concert took place in Mexico, October 2005. "Zwei Seelen" shows
the rocking side of the band and convinces with its intense and emotional
tightrope walk.
HAMMERFALL - New album
details Sweden's HAMMERFALL have set "Threshold" as the title of its
new album, due in the U.S. on October 31 via Nuclear Blast Records (October 23
in Europe, except in Germany, where it will arrive on October 20). The complete
track listing for the CD is as follows: The
single track will be available as download only between August 6 and September
6, exclusively at the iTunes music store and Nuclear Blast Musicshop.
HAMMERFALL and the athletes will also perform "The Fire Burns
Forever" at the official opening of the Championships on August 6 in
Gothenburg, Sweden. ***

Waste tour update
MUNICIPAL WASTE have been unleashing the bastard
in audiences throughout the US over the last few weeks. Playing a variety of
venues, from intimate VFW shows to a guest slot on the Maryland leg of the
Sounds of the Underground tour, MUNICIPAL WASTE have reached out to fans and
delivered their passion for a good 'ol time to the masses.
Lead singer Tony Guardrail checked in while on
tour and proclaimed that MUNICIPAL WASTE'S slot on The Sounds of the
Underground tour "was awesome"
and notes that each show they have played on
their summer tour has been an amazing experience. Shows have included boogie
boards thrown out for crowd "surfing", trampolines, and all sorts of
random novelties that have established MUNICIPAL WASTE as a live force to be
reckoned with.
MUNICIPAL WASTE are gearing up for a six day
stint in California to round out their summer US tour and will embark on a six

IGNITE - new video for
"Bleeding" - Century Media Records News
- Bleeding' is the first video from IGNITE's new
album - Our Darkest Days'
that was released on Century Media Records in
Europe May 15th, 2006. IGNITE who have been crafting some of the most
definitive melodic west coast hardcore over the past decade are also known for
their no holds barred social and politically engaging lyrics. This song and
video is no different as the subject deals with the Iraq occupation by the U.S.
As bassist Brett Rasmussen explains, it is about - the lies our Government told
us to get us into a war without taking the rest of the world's consideration
into it.'
Vocalist Zoli Teglas who wrote the lyrics has a
younger brother currently stationed in Iraq where as he explains - he is forced
to risk his life driving Halliburton execs to meetings that benefit the
politicians and not the people.'
The performance footage of the video was shot in
the blistering California Desert. Interspersed with news footage of the war and
intense images, the message is driven home by director Chris Sims (Lamb Of God,
As I Lay Dying).
