Amazingly this is the band's fifth album which is some work rate considering their debut only came out in 2004. Formed around Fates Warning guitarist Andy Malecek and vocalist Mikael Erlandsson, the band now have a settled line-up completed by the Talisman rhythm section of Marcel Jacob and Jamie Borger.

If you like classy melodic hard rock in the TNT/Gotthard vein then this band are for you! They are great at penning hook laden anthems like the opener 'Strange Operation' or the pop rock overtones on 'Rainbow Sky'.

They do however drop into cliché mode once in awhile with 'R U Ready To Rock 'N' Roll' a bit too clichéd for my liking! You want sloe, brooding ballads? They try 'I'm Not Supposed To Love You Anymore'- great song and a heartfelt vocal from Erlandsson.

The melodic gem 'Overnight Sensation' closes the album in style with a lovely acapella outro, great stuff.

Last Autumn's Dream are one of the best melodic rock bands out there and this new album will certainly please their fans and hopefully gain them a few new ones.
