Formed just over 6 months ago, PUCK are a London based female fronted hard rock outfit - AmyJay (vocals), Fred Abbot and Lee Barker (guitars), Si (bass) and Aidan Bucheri (drums).

Beyond Reason is their debut 7 track EP and for once, the first thing that comes to mind isn't Evanescence (which makes a pleasant change).

No two ways about it - PUCK are hard and heavy female fronted rock with a powerful sound, big choruses and staccato riffs.

All That You Are is equally commercial and edgy, Masquerade and No Shame are pacy and furious, Michael demonstrates their softer side, No Shame is a big powerful number, Shelters has an excellent Chilli Peppers structure, while No Tonight is power pop/rock.

Fresh, versatile and well worth checking out.
