McQUEEN Break The Silence Demolition DEMCD158 (2007)

McQueen

Female fronted metal nodding at the pseudo extreme end; opener 'Neurotic' mixes trash, thrash, Nu and Grunge with guitar pop/boy band song structure.

'Dirt' is very much in your face, if a little disjointed.

The riffs throughout try to be punchy, catchy, trendy metal with a punk like ethos.

There are a few good tunes, but the album's a little samey.

Half decent metal but no soul or depth. It's like a Tandoori; curry for the kids.
