THE TREAT In Technicolor (2005)

The Treat

UK band formed back in 2003 and citing themselves as part of the New Rock Revolution! Well, sadly, this revolution looks like being put down without much of a fight!

The music is riff driven but the guitars are way down in the mix and the vocals have a slightly effeminate edge - reminded me bizarrely of Al Stewart!

But I will always try and find something good in the music and 'The Hunger' is a damn fine pop rock tune that features some neat harmony response vocals and a hook filled chorus.

Elsewhere, though, it is like a toned down Darkness but lacking that killer catchy riff. Worth a look if only for 'The Hunger'.
