The Pariahs hail from Canada and were formed in 1989. Having supported the
likes of The Ramones, Therapy and The Deftones, and with a large underground
following at home- this is their first CD to be released in the UK and they
can soon be seen supporting label mates The Diamond Dogs.
There are 9 tracks on the album and you can hear the bands love of The
Ramones throughout. However, the best tracks lend a healthy nod to Iggy Pop,
they are “Essential” and “Yellow Alert”. There is also a tribute to Joan
Jett, namely “Joan Jett”.
Fans of bands such as The Wildhearts should enjoy this album.
