THE MIRAGE Tomorrow Never Knows
RPM RPMBC319 (2006)

This band were around at the peek of the British Psych Pop scene; subtitled Singles And Lost Sessions 1966-1968, there's a strong nod towards the period Beatles, with touches of early Barrett era Floyd and in places The Hollies too.

Trebly guitar and vocal harmonies are the order of the day, and on top of some pretty rare singles here, deserved hits, there's some rarities and gems too.

A well annotated set, and with 17 of the 23 tracks previously unissued, it's good value too.

*** OK, approach with caution unless you are a fan |
** Instant bargain bin fodder | * Ugly. Just ugly
