RPM ‘RPM’ SPV CD085-59942(2004)

This hard rock / AOR set was released originally in the early 80s, but sadly things didn't really work out. Sadly because although this has an AOR tag, there's some very strong material here.

The poppy edge in places works well, as does the occasional use of keyboards.

Opener 'A Legend Never Dies' was a minor hit at the time, while '2+2' is a stand out track.

The more typical AOR ballad 'I Don't Feel The Same' is the kind of weak cliché that lets the set down, but ³Rendevouz' and 'Envy' have just enough weight and strength to warrant a second or third spin.

Add on five previously unreleased tracks and you get a pretty full and enjoyable set.
