RAGING SPEEDHORN How The Great Have Fallen SPV (2005)

Raging Speedhorn is raging on this, their latest release. They may have been away for 3 years but it seems to have done the band a great deal of good. This is by far the best thing the band have ever released including an enjoyable cover of Kiss' 'God of Thunder.'

This is heads down driving metal that takes no freaking prisoners. The title track is another highlight as well as the Sabbath-esque 'Don't Let the Bastard Grind you Down'.

If you are looking for something to blow the fluff out of your aural cavities then this it. Oh yes and seeing em' live is essential. The perfect antidote to Coldplay. A definite must-buy for anyone into the extremely heavy side of heavy metal.

****½
