PEO ‘Look What I've Started’ MTM/SPV 085-59992 (2004)

Swedish multi instrumentalist Peo Patterson, the man behind Axia, produced and played on over 100 albums in the 80s (great things these press releases you know). No mean feat. This debut album from 1990 gets a full re-release with 5 bonus tracks. But who itíll appeal to Iím not quite sure.

The music is smooth and polished AOR, with keyboard intros and occasional guitar flourishes. Nothing wrong with that, itís all good stuff, but thereís so much of this from the late 80s about. The saxophone solo in 'Only One Love' is pretty dated.

The musicís good, but itís just quite hard to get excited about it.

**½
