MOLLY HATCHET ĎGreatest Hits Liveí
The King Biscuit Flower Hour Archive Series
(KBFH Records 40001-2) (2004)

Nothing to do with the current bandís activities, the cash-in live sets continue. No matter, as this is a great live set from a rarely documented era.

Recorded in February 1982, we get treated to 'Beatiní The Odds' and tracks from ĎTake No Prisonersí, including 'Bloody Reunion', 'Dead Givaway' and 'Lady Luck', the latter featuring a full horns section.

Vocalist Jimmy Farrar is much underrated, and he handles earlier numbers 'Let The Good Times Roll', 'Itís All Over Now' and 'One Manís Pleasure' well; all great tracks that seem to get overlooked. The early classics are here too. 'Bounty Hunter' and the Allmanís 'Dreams' only wet the appetite for the closing number 'Boogie No More' in itís full glory. A Southern Rockerís dream!
