MAHAVATAR From The Sun, The Rain, The Wind, The Soil Escapi Music EMUS20058 (2006)

An extreme metal band of international origin (Jamaica, Poland, Israel), with shared vocals that feature an excellent female voice.

Heavy as an juggernaut and about as noisy too, with diverse influences that include Black Sabbath and death metal. No boundaries here, then. I sense a touch of Ripper era Judas Priest in “Cult”, that also features some acoustic moments.

Some good guitar work, noisy rhythms, it’s all interesting and groundbreaking.

You need to be a fan of diverse alternative and extreme metal to appreciate this, otherwise it’s just headache inducing, but it’s great for what it is.
