LUNATICA The Edge Of Infinity Frontiers FRCD300 (2006)
Love this on first impression. Spoken word intro with music a la Eloy, then from 'The Edge Of Infinity' onwards we get a big polished sound of prog metal. Two guitars, keyboards and some lovely female vocals.
Some quieter passages with piano make for atmosphere, while the guitars work well together on the heavier moments.
The set finishes with 'Emocean' which runs at nearly 9 minutes, a superb track.
Thoroughly enjoyable.
