The fifth instalment of Perris Records 'Hollywood Hairspray ' series offers a fairly mixed selection of glam bands from around the globe, with Brazil, Australia and Italy fitting in alongside the more expected Sweden, US and UK.

There are some real stand out tracks featured including 'Hearts on Fire' by Hollywood, a mid 80's sounding Bon Jovi/Europe lite track, Dirty Rigs 'Suck It' featuring Warrior Souls' Kory Clarke doing a Motorhead style vocal over a track that pumps away nicely, Sweet Cheaters 'Dancin' on my Grave' is Ratt like and very well written, and 'Women, Whisky, Weed and Lies' by Straight Fork- great title (and it lives up to it!!) and a great guitar solo.

There are some great tracks here, and to be fair, some not so great tracks.

However, an enjoyable collection of tracks.
