DIE SO FLUID Spawn Of Dysfunction
CD Single, Retinue Records (2005)

Modern Nu-metal led by the female bassist/singer Grog, this is a lot more mature than the general splurge that dominates the era. It’s a cleaner sound with an indie-metal nod that makes for more interesting and attention grabbing listening.

There’s actually some neat guitar work too.

Smear Campaign, the second track, starts off with an acoustic feel. Good but not as good as the lead track. A sound sampler for what’s to come.

***½
