CRUCIFIED BARBARA ‘In Distortion We Trust’Cargo Records BECD002(2005)
All girl band Crucified Barbara have already had a top ten hit single in
their native Sweden with the track 'Losing The Game' and this is one of the
highlights on this CD, it has a great chorus and great guitars.
In fact all the songs here have some great guitar work on them, sometimes it reminds me
of the Backyard Babies and at others Metallica. 'Play me Hard' opens the
album in a fast paced, driving guitar, great chorus way that sets the tone
for the rest of the album. The other highlights are 'I Wet Myself' and 'My
Heart is Black', musically the best tracks on the album.
The band are coming over this Spring and should be worth seeing live.
