Danny Bryant started young on his chosen path, turning professional at the tender age of 18. Now 13 years on and still only 31, he has released 7 albums to date, and this, his latest offering, was recorded live in Rosmalen, Holland, on 17th Sept 2011 to be exact.

Danny plays the blues, unsurprisingly, like he had been born with a guitar in his hand, maybe not quite from birth then, but not far off. Whether playing his own compositions or one of the excellent covers on the album he can really wring emotion from the neck of his Stratocaster.

The trio are a real power-house blues outfit and, playing a claimed 150 gigs a year, they are a very tight unit. The guys can play rocking blues as ably demonstrated on ‘ Master Of Disaster’ and the Buddy Guy number ‘ My Babies A Superstar’, slow things down with ‘ Just As I Am’ and the acoustic ‘ One Look’ and provide top notch classic blues as on the album’s tour de force ‘ Always With Me’ .

This is a cracking blues record which perfectly captures Danny Bryant and co in full flight. Well worth just over an hour of your time.
