BITCHES SIN ‘The First Temptation’
Majestic Rock MAJCD038 (2004)

Formed in 1980, Bitches Sin were quickly associated with the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, playing a very hard rock with screeching guitars and vocals done very well.

Their Predator debut album is well worth checking out; why isn’t that on CD yet?

This set however, kicks off with a seven track demo from 1980, recorded on their first ever visit to a studio; tightly (largely) performed but lacking production. Interesting, enjoyable, but nothing special.

We are then treated to 4 tracks recorded for the Friday Rock Show. Sadly no improvement in direction or production. “Fallen Star” is pretty good but “Hold On To Love” is amateurish.

Enjoyable but for die-hards and collectors only.
