From the very north of Sweden, where wolves and ice bears are more common than human life comes Winterlong. A young talented power metal band, the debut album "Valley of the Lost" released in 2001 was produced by Lars Eric Mattsson, featuring special guest Mistheria on keyboards. After the successful debut Winterlong returned with a new more powerful and mature sound. The new singer in Winterlong is Mikael Holm and there are actually two drummers on "The Second Coming"...The Legendary Anders Johansson (Hammerfall/Malmsteen...) and Andreas Lill(Vanden Plas). The band's leader, Thorbjorn Englund, is also a member of Star Queen, another band on Lion Music's roster.
